The event was well received by the French industrial and commercial participants because of its rich content and refreshing form. Jean MOUGIN applauded the innovative efforts to do business during the COVID-19 pandemic by bringing the Fair online. As an important platform for China’s opening-up and international trade cooperation, and a significant part of global industrial chain and supply chain, the Canton Fair provided ample opportunities for importers and exporters worldwide. Caroline PERRILLON said that she used to visit China three times a year before the pandemic, two of which were for the Fair. She therefore developed long-term relationships with many good Chinese businesses, and she came to know her Chinese clients through the Fair. Since the pandemic broke out two years ago, she has attended the Fair online and found it equally convenient. David MARTIN, General Manager of VMT, said that he benefited considerably by receiving the latest updates of the Fair and getting in touch with high quality Chinese industrial bases and businesses. This new form of exhibition improves the ability of businesses to minimize the influence of the pandemic and to diversify their supply chains.
